- What residents of apartments and condos can do to limit the spread of COVID-19:
- Don’t crowd onto elevators. Consider only getting on with members of your own household, waiting for the next elevator, or taking the stairs.
- If you must leave your residence, practice social distancing. Try to stay at least six feet away from others.
- Limit your use of common spaces, like gyms, party rooms, laundry rooms, and pet relief areas. Stay at least 6 feet apart from residents and building staff.
- Wear a cloth face covering — especially since it may be difficult to stay six feet away from others in elevators, laundry rooms, or other common areas.
- Limit visitors to those who are providing essential services.
- If you are a building owner, read more about what you can do here.
- Change the webpage language by going to the top right, clicking on the white bar that says Select Language, and choosing your language.
- For folks who live in small apartments or have crowded households, these are just a few things that they can do to stay safer. Please visit the links below for more complete information.
- Only leave the house when absolutely necessary. If you must go out, have a family member who is not at higher risk go.
- If one is sick, provide separate a bathroom and bedroom. If this is not possible, separate them from others as much as possible, especially those who are at higher risk of getting severely ill.
- If they must share a room, open the window to circulate fresh air, keep a distance of 6 feet between beds, if possible, and sleep head to toe.
- If they must share the same bathroom, open outside doors, and windows before entering, use a ventilating fan to increase air circulation in the area, and wait as long as possible before entering the room to use or disinfect the bathroom.
- If you are sick, do not prepare food for others. Eat separately from the family.

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.
With that being said, when shopping on Amazon, do consider selecting ANS: “America Nepal Society of the United States” when making purchases through Amazon. And because ANS is a nonprofit 501(c), trust us when we say every cent counts.
Thank you for supporting ANS through smile.amazon.com
